FAQs

Do you have a question? We may have already answered it, if you can’t find the answers to question in our FAQ’s, contact us
What services does Proactive provide?

Proactive provides a wide range of health and wellbeing services across the country, ranging from sports physiotherapy to return to work programmes, from treatment for brain injury to helping those with long term pain and illness.

There are many different access points to our services, but generally a referral is not required. Please get in touch if you have specific questions about specific services we offer.

You don’t require a Doctors referral to seek Proactive’s physiotherapy.  We are able to begin the ACC application process for you at your first appointment.   If you require specialist input we are able to refer you to the most appropriate provider for your injury needs.

Prices vary significantly depending on the type of service you are receiving, whether the service is covered by ACC, and the complexity of your needs. We are happy to discuss cost as it relates to your needs.

If you have any information eg:  ACC number, reports from injury investigations, health history, previous providers or Doctors, please bring these along to help us with your assessment.
Please attend your first appointment in clothing that will enable you to move freely (eg: shorts and T-shirt for a knee injury, sports bra or singlet for back injuries).  It is a health and safety requirement that clients be wearing shoes when they are onsite.

Appointment time vary according to your needs and type of programme.  This will be discussed as part of you first session.

Call 0800 TOTAL YOU or the clinic you are after directly on their direct dial (find these on our contact us page), email info@proactive4health.co.nz, book online using the “book now” button on this website or pop in and see us!

This is dependent on your needs and what you want to achieve from your time with us. Our services are bespoke and tailored to suit your needs, so it is important that you and the Proactive team member that you are working with discuss this in your first session.

Your feedback is important in helping us to recognise where our team are doing great work, to identify areas where there is room for improvement and to receive ideas that could make our good stuff even better. There are lots of ways you can let us know how we’ve done. Have a chat to one of our friendly customer support team, chat to your provider or their manager or email us on info@proactive4health.co.nz
