Active Intervention Management Ltd (AIM) are an experienced team of health professionals providing Injury Prevention, Injury/Illness Management, Pain Management and Health and Safety Services in the workplace, community and home throughout Northland.

AIM clinicians work as part of an Interdisciplinary team to help facilitate better decisions and outcomes for our customers.

Physio Direct is a privately-owned company covering a range of locations across rural New Zealand. Physio Direct began when founder Amy Cram realised that many small rural areas in New Zealand did not have an adequate physiotherapy service. Physio Direct now has a large team of Physiotherapists and an Occupational Therapist. Our Physio team works with our clients to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries including sports and work-place injuries, muscle and joint strains or sprains, neck and back pain along with offering surgical rehabilitation, dry needling and massage. Our Team also provides Vocational Rehabilitation, Pain Management and Training for Independence in our clinics across the central North Island, including the Rotorua Region, and works closely with employers, specialists, orthopaedic teams, hand therapists, psychologists and dietitians with the aim of giving our clients the ability to Live, Work and Play pain free.

Lisa Hansen Physiotherapy Clinic is proud to be licensee to Proactive and supports the four corners to health approach.

Lisa has a team of around twenty experienced physiotherapists and an Occupational Therapist, who provide a range of services from Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy, Vocational Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Training for Independence and Social Rehabilitation programmes. The team understand the importance of working well in a multi-disciplinary team and have working relationships with clinical psychologists, a nutritionist, pain specialists and occupational physicians.

The therapists work closely with a number of surgeons and provide both inpatient (Braemar and Southern Cross hospital) and outpatient care. To ensure a safe and speedy rehabilitation they regularly communicate with surgeons regarding patient’s progress and also have a good understanding of surgical input and their prescribed post-operative regime.
Lisa’s’ therapists have a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise but the main drive of the clinic is patient centric/ biopsychosocial approach.

We are a tight knit team who use our 125 years of collective experience to work with clients, helping them take back control of their lives. We have superb modern clinic and gym facilities where we can meet all the rehab needs of our clients, but we also have an extensive network of contacts around Taranaki to provide support at a local level too.

Our wider team includes psychologists, pain medicine specialists, orthopaedic consultants, hand therapists and dieticians. Our team has worked extensively across all the principal industries in Taranaki from the largest organisations right down to single person home-based businesses.

Our headquarters are located in central New Plymouth at 313 Devon Street East and we have satellite clinics in Bell Block at the Parklands Shopping Centre and in South Taranaki at the TSB Hub Hawera.
